Warrants and the Washita County Sheriff
The Washita County Sheriff serves bench warrants from the District Court. Deputies patrol the county and arrest people on active warrants. Under Title 22 Section 968, bench warrants are served the same way as arrest warrants. A deputy can pick you up at home, at a store, or on the road.

Washita County Warrant Consequences

Section 1335, failing to appear on purpose is its own offense. Fines can go up to $5,000 and jail time up to two years. That is on top of the original charge.
The Oklahoma Department of Public Safety can suspend your driver's license under 22 O.S. Section 1115.5 when you miss court. The bench warrant fee under Title 22 Section 456A is $5. You need to clear the warrant before DPS will restore your license.
